All of that will change soon. With the players they have they will have to shell out alot of money or make some stupid trades. Thats the price you pay for making the world series.

If you need an example look at the 2001 Florida Marlins. i think thats when they won the world series. They fired the manager and traded all their players after they won the world series. I dotn really mean ll their player but 4 keys players for sure.

i guess i should be mad about getting rid of arod but its not like it wasnt coming..new york hated him when he wasnt producing and loved him when he was and i hate that. here in new yokr there is no loyalty for anyone, look at jeter..i think it was 2 years ago jeter was batting 200 or something a few months into the season and the fans were booing him..i wouldnt want to play for a team that hated me whe i wasnt doing good. well i just want to see what moves steinbrenner and co. will do to satisfy the fans, including me ..go girardi

Wow, going to see the winners of the world series parade is dorky?? Man Tea, I'm sorry that ice road truckers is the only sport for you to grasp onto up in north dakota, but in the civilized world going to see a champions parade is very normal lmao!!!

Here is a link to the pics I took by Fenway at the start of the parade this morning before we headed up to city hall for the Papelbon irish dance at the end of the parade. Friggin wild day like a million people everywhere! But it was fun and my kids won't forget it. We get to do it again in deep freeze in Feb when the Pats win. I'm hoping for a May parade too for the Celts now that the new big three with Garnett/Allen/Pierce is gonna whip some NBA butt!! I think they call that a tri-fecta lol.
