Well I guess Ohio State is in (talk about lucky).. but after that, I don't think anyone knows who will play them for the national title. Hell, I say you put Hawaii in there. Hopefully this is what the NCAA needed to finally realize that they need a playoff.

Yep...If they don't do playoffs next year....well I don't know what will happen, but people will be pissed...

There will never be playoffs in college football. The bowls have too much power unfortunately.

Great Match up in my opinion. A lot of top teams lost this year I think this made it really exiting. Like Chief said unless you can incorporate the bowls with a playoff system there will never be such a type of tournament.

I have to root for the SEC team in this championship game but I really think that Ohio has a really good chance this year.

who cares if the top teams lose..I got sick of seeing the same teams win like who would have expected missouri being at the top for any period of time..LSU v OSU will be great imo

im not sure how a playoff system would work because you cant shorten the regular season to anything less than it is, and the playoffs would be what 4 extra games? thats tough on a collegiant athlete. and as much as the PC has to say to the outcome the decision does have some human opinion in it..imo they should drop the PC and have a board of football knowledgable people count as say 70%, coaches for 20% and popular vote as 10% or something like that.

Well when you look at who Hawaii has played this season theres really not much to look at. There strenght of schedule was weak compared to other teams that are up there. The only thing that helped them get to where they are now is winning against #19 Boise st. But we will see how strong they really are once they play in there bowl game against #5 Georgia.

Until someone says fuck you to the Pack 10 and the Big 10, there will NEVER be a playoff setup.....
