Biggest disappointment in sports history? Highly doubt it. And Bellichik did shake Coughlins hand, I don't know how you two missed it considering they showed it for a good minute on TV. And the '08 Pats are still better than the '72 Dolphins. Football has evolved in the past 36 years, the players are so much more athletic, and the season is longer. All that and I didn't even care who won tonight, it's just upsetting to see a team who deserves to be called the greatest NFL team of all time get bashed by being called the "biggest disappointment in sports history" because they lost one game by a field goal.

That would make the Giants the best team ever? Im a Giants fan and we all know thats not true. I would say they were one of the most explosive teams. And the Pats dont deserve shit since they lost the Superbowl. No one will remember them, they choked. They are the model of a team with too much talent and too much cockiness. Brady didnt look too confident during those last plays in the 4th quarter tho, especially when he got pummeled on the 3rd down. Poor baby looked like he was going to cry. Atleast he has an out with his BS ankle injury.

Brady and his hurt ankle, fuck that .Buress played all year fucked up. I will give them props for sure. And as for NE, they fucked up their whole season by losing. 72 Fins still the best.

No I ment that they were the second best team in NFL History after the '72 Fins but they are not even that I will put a few teams ahead of them.

I still contend that the Pats are better than the '72 Dolphins, or at the very least they are equal. The Dolphins might have had a better season, but that doesn't mean they had a better team than the Pats. So far I haven't seen anyone refute any of my points, so until then I'm convinced that the '08 Pats are the best team to play the game of Football.

The Pats arnt even better then the '85 Bears who went 18-1 and won the super bowl in a blowout. They didnt even allow the Pats QB who was Tony Eason to complete a pass.

No, you havn't disputed any of my previous points and you brought up a team from 23 years ago. All the points that I made against the '72 Dolphins still apply to the '85 Bears.

incase you guys didnt know the 72 dolphins played without bob griese for most of the 72 season..hes that hall of fame quarterback the dolphins had during those 70s..no matter how anyone stands they are the best team ever out of any of the major sports because they were PERFECT while the patriots failed in their "pursuit of perfection" crap.

yeah your completely right, you can compare teams in different sports but no team can be better than a team that hasnt lost. if the pats were to have won and remained undefeated the dolphins wouldnt have been worse than them just as good. it comes down to winning and if a team hasnt lost they are perfect
